Thanks Mary Beth! Our aim is to inspire that sort of feeling, so glad we have succeeded!
Our best advice is to become familiar with the groups and organizations that are active in your area and volunteer with them. Groups that prioritize re-integrating these individuals back into society are far more effective than simply locking people up, and groups like that always need extra sets of hands.
Another thing you can do is become familiar with the legislation both on your local level, and in DC. Become engaged and show support for programs that provide a hand up for the people in these broken segments of our society.
